Young trees in the new forest in the sunlight
About Us

We are a French 'Association Loi 1901' non-profit organization dedicated to increasing biodiversity.

The forest started as a single hectare (almost 3 acres) in 1998 and we now cover 20 hectares following recent acquisitions.

With atmospheric carbon already causing climate instability, work in the forest is carried out exclusively with manual or electric hand tools; we don't use any petrol. Hunting is forbidden.

At Home in La Manche, France

We are based in the town of Moon-sur-Elle in Northern France - A region known for it's marshes, cheese and the D-Day landing beaches.
