From A Small Seed,
A Mighty Trunk May Grow

In the face of climate change, the Caperdu Forest Project re-wilds agricultural land to provide wildlife habitat and carbon sequestration.

NATURE IS OUR
INSPIRATION

Our goal is to build a forest that sequesters carbon dioxide from the atmosphere while promoting biodiversity.

We acquire agricultural land in Normandie, France which we then reforest with indigenous species such as oak, beech, silver birch, and willow. Low-lying areas are left open as marsh and meadows.

We source stock from cuttings, re-locating self-seeded trees and purchasing additional indigenous species.
